ซีบีเอสได้โพสต์วีดีโอขนาดสั้นลงบนเว็บไซด์หลังจากออกอากาศตอนนั้นๆ จบแล้วเพื่อให้ดูว่าทีมที่ถูกคัดออกไปแล้ว จะทำอะไรบ้างขณะที่อยู่ที่บ้านพัก โดยฤดูกาลนี้ทีมที่ถูกคัดออกจะถูกส่งไปยังบ้านพักที่ประเทศเม็กซิโก

• หลังจากจบ เลก 1 ดาน่ากับเอเดรียน เป็นทีมแรกที่ถูกคัดออกและถูกส่งมายังบ้านพัก พวกเขาผิดหวังที่เอเดรียนไม่สามารถทำงานอุปสรรคสำเร็จได้เนื่องจากกลัวความสูง เอเดรียนอยากที่จะจูบดาน่าเพื่อให้ความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองแน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น พวกเขาพูดถึงเรื่องการแต่งงานและเดินสำรวจไปที่ชายหาดพร้อมกับเห็นฝูงปลาวาฬขนาดใหญ่ในทะเลอีกด้วย

The eliminated teams were excited to see Joe & Heidi arrive at the villa. Shannon was shocked to hear about Joe & Heidi that got eliminated. Monique & Shawne notice that Joe & Heidi were U-Turned by Louie & Michael. They told them about what went wrong during the second Detour that they have to perform and it was the Blind U-Turn that got them. They also told them they were unable to complete the second Detour after they were U-Turned by Louie & Michael. Joe & Heidi said that Louie & Michael were their biggest threat. The next day, all teams went downtown to some stores and Joe talked to the store owner to buy some jewelry. After he tried to talk down a lower price for the jewelry, the store owner got upset and asked them to leave.
• หลังจากจบ เลก 6 จอร์แดนกับเจฟ เป็นทีมที่ห้าที่ถูกคัดออกและถูกส่งมายังบ้านพัก All the teams at the villa sat down for a meal and as Jordan & Jeff arrive at the villa, they explained the circumstances that led to their elimination. They believed that Louie & Michael would be in the top 3, and Joe again shared his disdain for Louie & Michael in a confessional. Jeff expressed his bitterness at having been evicted from Big Brother and now eliminated from The Amazing Raceas he compares Elimination Station and Big Brother 's Jury House. However, Jordan feels satisfied from being in Elimination Station. The teams later went on a snorkeling trip. While on the trip, Monique & Shawne suffered from seasickness, and Heidi helped Adrian become comfortable in the water. The snorkeling trip also helped ease Jeff's bitterness at being eliminated.
• เลก 7 เป็นเลกที่ไม่มีการคัดออก ไม่มีทีมใหม่ถูกส่งมายังบ้านพัก At the pool, Adrian, Jeff and Joe discussed about why Louie & Michael U-Turned Joe and Heidi, which it turns out to be the detectives disliked them due to personal reasons. After that, the eliminated teams watched an exciting Mexican dance, many of the racers joined in the dance and some of them watched on, Jody also performed a solo by playing the drum, which impressed Shannon. Later in the day, Joe shared with Heidi the main reason on why Louie & Michael U-Turned them. Lastly, Heidi added on that if Joe were to met Louie & Michael, he will confront them on why the detectives U-Turned them and affect the final outcome of the race.

Just then, the phone rang, and Monique picked up the phone, and everyone one was surprised and sad to hear that Steve & Allie were eliminated, Steve shared that it was bad decisions and a bad cab that resulted in their elimination. Joe then asked Steve about Louie & Michael's current situation in the race, then Steve told Joe that his team was too strong and was a threat, which resulted in the U-Turn. Steve also noted that either Jet & Cord or Louie & Michael will win the race. Lastly, Jeff was elected to hear the next eliminated team.
• หลังจากจบ เลก 9 คารอลกับแบรนดี้ เป็นทีมที่เจ็ดที่ถูกคัดออกแต่ไม่ได้ถูกส่งมายังบ้านพัก When Carol & Brandy called the villa early in the morning, the other eliminated teams were shocked and disappointed to hear about Carol & Brandy being eliminated, especially Shannon who wanted to see an all girl team win. Carol & Brandy talked about the U-Turn and their dislike for Brent & Caite that lead to their elimination. In response, Jordan said that Carol & Brandy were probably just too jealous of Caite's beauty. Adrian, however, agreed with Carol & Brandy that the U-Turn was a foolish move by the dating models, and that it should have been used on either Jet & Cord or Louie & Michael. That evening, the eliminated racers got to watch a Mexican wrestling match in an outdoor coliseum. Jordan got to escort a wrestler to the ring, and Adrian, the most enthusiastic fan of the group, bought a wrestling mask as a souvenir.

Then, all the teams at Elimination Station are shown packing their bags and guessing where the final Leg will take place and then they were leaving the villa and fly to End City.

After arriving in San Francisco, the teams checked in to a hotel, settled into their rooms, and awaited the phone call from the eighth team eliminated. Dana said that Joe & Heidi were hoping that Louie & Michael are not in the Final Three because of their dislike for them after being U-Turned. Louie & Michael called into the hotel, and the eliminated teams were shocked and disappointed to hear about Louie & Michael being eliminated. Joe asked Louie & Michael if they still felt that they had use the U-Turn correctly. Michael told him that they had because he thought Joe & Heidi would be very tough to beat once the Race route reached Asia. Adrian said that Joe & Heidi's wishes came true, but despite Louie & Michael being Eliminated, Joe was still not satisfied. Jeff told Joe that Louie & Michael U-Turned Joe & Heidi because of personal reasons, which led to harsh words between Joe and Jeff.
• เลก 12 was the final leg of The Amazing Race 16. All the elimination station teams met up with the 3 recently other eliminated teams. Teams expressed their joys about the race, and the learning experiences they could draw from it.
